Teen Anime Club

The student-founded Teen Anime Club @ FPL continues throughout the school year. Meetings are free and open to dedicated fans of Anime and Manga as well as beginners.

Teen Knitting Group

A group designed for beginners and experienced teen knitters alike. All meetings are free and open to ages 12-18. Instruction provided by volunteers. For any questions, please contact the Youth Services desk at 479-571-2222 x4370.

Teen Alternative Fashion Show

Teen Open Mic Night

Middle school, junior high and high school singers, musicians, visual artists, actors, creative writers and, of course, spectators are all invited to perform music and short plays, read original creative writing, display artwork and hang out.

Wanderer on the Web

The online adjunct to the The Wanderer, FPL's literary art magazine.

Wanderer Illustration Contest

Submit between March 1 and March 31
photography will be accepted this year

Artists in Grades 4-12 are invited to submit original work for consideration as illustrations in The Wanderer, an annual publication of the Fayetteville Public Library. All entries will be displayed in an exhibit in the young adult library. Selected entries will be published in The Wanderer. Color or black-and-white pen-and-ink drawings, pencil drawings, prints, and paintings are welcome. Contact Caitlyn Spaulding at for more information.
