Ozarkansas Tool Library
The Ozarkansas Tool Library
The Ozarkansas Tool Library is a partnership between Feed Communities and Fayetteville Public Library that allows residents to borrow tools for gardening and home improvement projects.
What You Need
Patrons need a Fayetteville Public Library card in good standing to borrow tools. Additionally, the library will only check out tools to patrons age 18 and older.
How to Check Tools Out
To check out tools from the Ozarkansas Tool Library, visit the circulation desk at Fayetteville Public Library, where staff will assist you in checking out a tool. The tool will then need to be picked up at the Feed Communities building located at 221 South Locust Avenue southeast of the library. Tools will be available for pickup on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and on Fridays from noon to 3 p.m. You can also schedule an appointment by calling Feed Communities at (479) 966-4790. Tools check out for 7 days starting from the day you receive your receipt from the library. If, for any reason, you cannot pick up the tool you have checked out, please call the library at (479) 856-7113.
Late fees for tools are $1 per day. Borrowers are responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen tools.
Some tools require an appointment for checkout. To arrange an appointment, call Feed Communities at (479) 966-4790.
